Leith Harmon, MSE CRPC

Leith serves as Chief Financial Planner for Counsel Fiduciary. Prior to joining Counsel Fiduciary in June 2006, Leith spent six years at Merrill Lynch providing planning and investment advice. Previously, she worked for twelve years as an independent financial planner and business consultant in New York City and Washington, D.C. Leith received bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Michigan where she focused on risk management, decision analysis, and applied economics. Leith holds memberships in the Financial Planning Association, the National Committee on Planned Giving, and MENSA. Her philanthropic work includes personal finance curriculum development for the NYC Board of Education.

Susan Middleton, MS CFA CFP

Susan serves as Chief Investment Officer for Counsel Fiduciary. Prior to joining Counsel Fiduciary, Susan spent eighteen years serving as a process/quality control engineer to a number of manufacturing firms. Susan brings her experience with statistical quality control and process management to Counsel Fiduciary, providing clients with a level of both statistical and process due diligence rarely found in a wealth management firm. Susan graduated from the University of Michigan in 1987 with a bachelors in Industrial and Operations Engineering. She supplemented that background with a masters in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon in 1990. Susan has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2011, and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) since 2018.
